Today we remember and stand with Berta Cáceres, the Honduran indigenous and environmental rights campaigner, murdered yesterday in her home.
Her family affirm that it was an assassination prompted by her high-profile campaigns against dams, illegal loggers and plantation owners in Honduras.
She had been awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2015 for her #humanrights and #environmentaljustice grassroot activism and campaigns.
