This election is likely to have large consequences for how the United States, and perhaps the world, addresses #climatechange. Ant that is simply becasue the candidates' positions contrast sharply on the matter, and becasue the world has begun an ambitious emissions reduction regime under the Paris climate accord that only one of the candidates want to continue.
